Prof. Panos M. Pardalos, University of Florida, USA
BIO: Ph.D., University of Minnesota, 1985 Panos M. Pardalos serves as professor emeritus of industrial and systems engineering at the University of Florida. Additionally, he is the Paul and Heidi Brown Preeminent Professor of industrial and systems engineering. He is also an affiliated faculty member of the computer and information science Department, the Hellenic Studies Center, and the biomedical engineering program. He is also the director of the Center for Applied Optimization. Pardalos is a world leading expert in global and combinatorial optimization. His recent research interests include network design problems, optimization in telecommunications, e-commerce, data mining, biomedical applications, and massive computing.

BIO: Dr. Jie Li is an Endowed Chair Professor in Computer Science and Engineering, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Director of Intelligent Big Data System (iBDSys) Lab., Director of SJTU Blockchain Research Centre, Adjunct Professor of Zhiyuan College with Zhiyuan Honors Program and SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology (SPEIT), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China. He serves as the Chief Scientist, Shanghai Key Lab. of Trusted Data Circulation and Governance and Web3. He is an IEEE Fellow, AAIA Fellow, and a Foreign Fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan (EAJ). He is on the advisory board of Shanghai Frontiers Science Center for Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, NYU Shanghai - New York University. He was a full Professor in Department of Computer Science, University of Tsukuba, Japan. He was a visiting Professor in Yale University, USA, Inria Sophia Antipolis and Inria Grenoble-Rhone-Aples, France, during the sabbatical year in September 2014 through August 2015. He has been a visiting Professor/Adjunct Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), The Hong Kong Polytechnical University (PolyU), City University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, and University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). His current research interests are in Big Data, AI, Blockchain, network systems and security, and smart city. His research has been continuously supported by many national and industrial research grants.
He is a Fellow of IEEE, a senior member of ACM, and a member of CCF and IPSJ. He is the founding chair of the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on Big Data (TCBD) and the co-chair of IEEE Big Data Community.
He has served as an editor and a guest editor for many international journals such as IEEE TBD, IEEE JSAC, IEEE IoTJ, IEEE TVT, IEEE TCC, IEEE TNSE, and IEEE Network, etc. He had served as a secretary for Study Group on System Evaluation of IPSJ and on Steering Committees of the SIG of System EVAluation (EVA) of IPSJ, the SIG of DataBase System (DBS) of IPSJ, and the SIG of MoBiLe computing and ubiquitous communications of IPSJ. He has also served on the program committees for several international professional conferences.

Dr. Yiduo Mei, Beijing Jiaotong University, China
BIO: 梅一多,计算机高级工程师,西安交通大学计算机博士,北京交通大学应用经济学博士后,主持、参与的多项成果获得了国际先进水平、国内领先水平的评价、获得了北京市科技进步奖二等奖。具有十余年的云计算、大数据、人工智能、区块链、互联网、高性能计算和网格计算系统的高校科研和工作经验。发表论文60余篇,授权了30余项发明专利。

Prof. Pietro S. Oliveto, Southern University of Science and Technology, China
BIO: Pietro Oliveto holds a Laurea degree in computer science from the University of Catania, Italy, awarded in 2005, and a PhD degree from the University of Birmingham, UK, conferred in 2009. His academic journey has been marked by several prestigious fellowships, including the EPSRC PhD+ Fellowship (2009-2010) and EPSRC Postdoctoral Fellowship (2010-2013) at the University of Birmingham, followed by the Vice-Chancellor's Fellowship (2013-2016) and EPSRC Early Career Fellowship (2015-2020) at the University of Sheffield. Prior to joining SUSTech, he served as the Chair in Algorithms at the Department of Computer Science, University of Sheffield.
Professor Oliveto's primary research focus is on the performance analysis, particularly the time complexity, of bio-inspired computation techniques. These techniques include evolutionary algorithms, genetic programming, artificial immune systems, hyper-heuristics, and algorithm configuration. Currently, he is spearheading the establishment of a Theory of Artificial Intelligence Lab at SUSTech.
His contributions to the academic community extend beyond research, as he has guest-edited special issues for journals such as Computer Science and Technology, Evolutionary Computation, Theoretical Computer Science, IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, and Algorithmica. He has also co-chaired the IEEE symposium on Foundations of Computational Intelligence (FOCI) from 2015 to 2021 and served as co-program Chair for the ACM Conference on Foundations of Genetic Algorithms (FOGA 2021). Additionally, he has held the position of Theory Track co-chair at GECCO 2022 and GECCO 2023. Professor Oliveto is a member of the Steering Committee of the annual workshop on Theory of Randomized Search Heuristics (ThRaSH), served as the Leader of the Benchmarking Working Group for the COST Action ImAppNIO, is a member of the EPSRC Peer Review College, and serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation.
